Our patients deserve the dentures with the best fit. Dr. Daniel Sheridan is dedicated to giving his patients high-end dentures that look and feel incredible.

Dentures are replacement appliances for missing teeth that are often removable. Dentures may take some getting used to, but they will restore your confidence and your desire to smile.

Types of Dentures

We offer an array of choices to meet your needs. If you have any questions, Dr. Sheridan can talk to you about these options during your consultation.

Full Dentures

Full dentures are used to replace all of the teeth after they have fallen out or been extracted. A mouth of missing teeth may happen because of gum disease or dental decay. It is better to replace the teeth with natural-looking dentures than keep the unhealthy teeth that may cause pain and discomfort.

Full dentures can be conventional or immediate. Conventional dentures are placed after the gums have healed, but immediate dentures can be placed immediately after tooth removal or tooth loss. Full dentures are held in place by a pink base that forms a tight seal with the gums.

Partial Dentures

Partial dentures are devices that are used when one or more healthy natural teeth remain in the mouth. Partial dentures are customized to fit around your remaining teeth. They use these natural teeth as anchors to hold your brand new teeth in place.

Permanent Dentures

Permanent dentures are anchored by dental implants instead of by the gums or natural teeth. Permanent dentures require a surgical procedure, but they are often the most durable denture form. If you have sufficient jawbone density to install the dental implants, Dr. Sheridan may recommend this modern approach to tooth replacement.
